Extra-Curricular Activities

are provided to students from Grades 1-9

To balance the school curriculum, extra-curricular activities are provided to students from Grades 1-9. Students are given the chance to choose which extra-curricular activities they would want to join in. Extra –curricular classes are held every Friday for two hours. Every student chooses two extra-curricular activities. For grades 5, 6, 8 and 9 students, only one extra-curricular activity is provided. The remaining one hour is used in giving these students extra lessons and review sessions in preparation for the Ujian National.

Included in the extra-curricular activities offered in the school are the following:

  4. English Club
  5. Math Club
  6. Science Club
  7. Bahasa Indonesia Club
  8. Arts & Crafts
  9. Creative Writing
  10. Music Club

Other Programs

To complement the curriculum and extra-curricular activities in school, other programs/activities are created and are held at different months each year.

  1. Election of Supreme Student Council (SSC) – held on the last week of July
  2. Evacuation Drill- held on the third week of July.
  3. Annual Gift Giving – held before IdulFitri Holidays
  4. Independence Day Celebration – held on or before August 17
  5. Leadership Training (Grades 6-9) – held 3rd week of September
  6. Team Building Camp (Grades 3-5) – held 4th week of September
  7. World Teacher’s Day Celebration – held on or before October 5
  8. World Children’s Day Celebration – held on or before October 31
  9. English Festival – held on the last week of November
  10. Community Service – held 2nd week of December
  11. Prom Night (Secondary)– held on or before February 14
  12. Friendship Party – (Grades 1-6) – held on or before February 14
  13. School’s Foundation Day Celebration – held every 19-20 of March
  14. Earth’s Day Celebration – held on or before 21st of April
  15. Science Related Contests – held on or before Earth’s Day Celebration
